Madeline Cochran (b. 1994, La Crosse, WI) lives and works in Minneapolis, MN.
Her work revolves around facilitating public art accessibility and connection with the natural environment. She draws inspiration from a range of influences— the balance between sensation and containment, the enigmatic landscape and atmosphere of the midwest and the storytelling of folk art and medieval manuscripts and iconography. She works in conversation with printmaking, painting, sculpture and audio-visual methods to push the emotive qualities of form.
